I'm talkin, yes indeed I'm talkin!

Over the past few weeks I have started to add many words to my vocabulary! Everyone is so proud of me.

My favorite word as of today, is "NO"!

I like to say "shut up" when the dogs bark. Mommy told me it's not nice to say shut up, but I hear them say it often to the doggies. Mommy said that they will not be saying it any more.

I met my new neighbor Miss Giana Conti. She is very sweet and small. Mommy said I was almost that small when I was born. Giana is nice but she has been sleeping the times I have met her. So, I have nmet her, but she has yet to meet me. I hope I make a nice impression with her someday! Anyway, I can't wait to show her all my tricks, when she is ready of course!

We visited an arcade on Saturday. We were watching this kid dance on a video game, he was really fast. Well, I thought I could do what he was doing so I started dancing (stomping on the ground) in the acrade too. People were laughing, but I did not care, it was fun.

I also made a bear, called Candy. She is orange and has these candy corn designs in her fur. She is so soft!

We went to playground on Sunday just for 2-5 year olds. IT WAS A BLAST!! I had so much fun running and climbing! I loved the sprial slide!! Cousin Abby liked the swings. We had dinner together, it was fun and messy!

I met a boy named Timothy on Saturday. He is a cool dude. I guess I get to go pumpkin picking with him in October. It will be fun!! I can't wait!!

Busy as a Bee!

Well, I have been quite busy these days... Last Sunday I had my first haircut. It was interesting. My Nona cut some of my curly hair. My Mom said it was a good thing because now I do not have to sit and get my hair de-tangled. I hate to sit still when Mommy de-tangles my hair. Mom and Dad picked up a new Sponge Bob chair for me. I LOVE IT! I even recline in it, and it's so soft.

This week Mommy said I will get to meet my new neighbor Giana Conti. She sounds so sweet, I can't wait to meet her. Mommy said maybe this week we can stop by and say HI.

Saturday, Mom and Dad took me to a playground near my house. Mom and Dad let me climb up the steps and slide down the slide. It was fun. I really like to climb up the slide, but Daddy and Mommy said a slide is only for going down, not up. I also went on a swing, but I am not sure that I liked it.

I went to Southwicks Zoo yesterday with cousin Abby! It was so much fun!! We saw elephants, pigs, lions, tigers, monkeys, birdies, deer, and a ostrich! I can't wait to go back to the Zoo again. We had to leave early due to some thunder boomers and rain. Abby and I also had fun at the playground in the zoo. I now love the SWINGS!!! I laugh when I am swinging. It's fun!!!

I am talking more each day. My new word this week is Soccer Ball, but Mom said it sounds like "Bacca Ball" when I say it. She said it's cute.

My First visit to the Emergency Room...

NOT FUN...
HORRIBLE...
SCARY!!!

I have been really really sick!! My Mommy and Daddy took me to the Emergency Room because I was very sick. I have Strep Throat, and the doctors said it is rare in young guys like me. I have not slept much at all over the past week. I have felt just awful. I can't swallow, so I just drool and cry to my Mommy and Daddy all day and night. I had to get my temperature taken in my batooty, and for the record, I do not like it at all. The worst was getting a catheter and an IV at the hospital. I screamed and cried, my Mommy was crying too. But after that I felt a little bit better.

Now Mommy and Daddy are giving my this awful tasting pink stuff called medicine. I like to spit it out at Mom and Dad.

Anyway, today I slept and I am feeling a little bit better. I hope I am better for this thing called Halloween this weekend!

Just an update on me... I have been really busy these days learning how to walk fast!! It's fun, but I crash into things. Three times in the past week and a half I have bumped my head really hard. UGH... anyway I will figure out this fast walking thing.

Last Friday I attended my girl friend Ainsley's first birthday party. It was fun!! I played with her toys and I was given a prize at the party! Ainsley and her Mom and Dad gave me a chuckling butterfly that I like to chew on!! Whoo hoo!

Saturday I got to visit with my cousin Abby. We all went to the mall to get pictures done. Abby and I decided to play a trick on our parents. We refused to be cooperative models, hee hee! It was fun to dress up in my first Halloween costume. I am going to be a big green Dinosaur!! RARRRRR!!!!!! My cousin Abby tried on her costume. She is a spider with a pink bow, basically a lady spider.

This weekend I get to go to Vermont and see lots of family on Saturday. Mom and Dad said we are coming home the same day so not to throw off my schedule. I think that's a good thing.

Anyway, last Saturday I got two more teeth in, they are on each side of my two front teeth. I like to gnaw on my Mom and Dad, but they keep telling me "No". So, instead I like to blow zerberts on their arms. I laugh when I do it because it sounds so funny. Then Mom and Dad laugh too.

Walking...

I am WALKING and it is sooo cool! I took my first three steps on Saturday August 27th!! I did it three times in a row! My Mommy and Daddy were so excited that it made me excited too!!!!

Last night I walked seven steps in a row, a new record!!

I can also now crawl with my froggy in my hand too.

9 Month checkup!!!

I went to the doctor last night and here are my latest measurements!

I now weigh 21 pounds 10 ounces and I am 28 inches long. I had two shots last night and I only cried for a minute and I did not even need my binky! The doctor said I can try more foods, cool! Mom said I will get to try yogurt, meat, fresh veggies and other stuff. The doctor said I still have to wait for strawberries, citrus and peanut butter or any foods with nuts.

The doctor thinks I will be walking anytime now, cool :)

Tonight I tried some pasta, it was very slickery but fun to play with. How do adults eat that stuff? I also have a total of four teeth now. My second front tooth is now poking through.

Today at daycare we went on a picnic to Wachusett Mountain, it was fun. I saw a big bullfrog!!! I laughed soo hard at it. I think frogs are funny. I have a frog at home, my Mom and Dad had a soft froggy made for me at a place called Build-A-Bear this past weekend. I just LOVE to watch the fluffinator!!! WHOO WHEEE!

A NEW COUSIN!!!!

My Mom and Dad told me tonight that I have a new friend, a COUSIN named Abigail!!! She was born today, August 3rd, 2003 at 2:54am. She weighs 8 pounds 4 ounces and she is 22 1/4 inches long! Mom says she is very cute and tiny!! She told me that I was almost that little when I was born. Well, I might be able to meet my cousin this weekend. I can't wait to meet her!

ANDREW UPDATE....

It's been a long time since I have written, I have been a very busy baby these days. I now have two teeth with a third on the way, YAY! My first tooth came in during the last week of June sometime. THe teeth are on the bottom part of my mouth. I am starting to get more hair on my head these days. Oh big news... I am crawling, I have been for a few days now. I even like to take strolls with my walker. I am so proud of myself! I laugh when I do it, walking is kind of funny.

In the recent weekends I have been busy. Three weekends ago Mom and Dad let me try a little vanilla cold stuff, they called it "soft serve", I LOVED IT so much I SCREAMED when they would not give me anymore. Tee Hee.
Two weekends ago Nonna and Nonnie and my Great Grandparents came to visit me. We went to the Italian Festival at our church. It was fun, I liked the music.
Last weekend I went to a place in New Hampshire and went to a thing called a birthday party. It was for a nice girl named Taryn, she turned 1! Her party was cool, there were Elmo balloons everywhere!!! I loved watching the balloons!!! Taryn was very interested in me, she kept trying to hug me, it was fun!

Well that is the low down on me for now. My mom keeps telling me that Aunt April and Uncle John have a baby any day now. My mom keeps saying the baby is going to be my cousin, and we think her name will be Abigail. I wonder what she will be like. Will she like things I like? Hmmmm I can't wait to meet her!!

FIRST TOOTH!!!

I went to the doctor today because I have not been feeling well. My mommy has been wiping my nose all the time and I DO NOT LIKE IT! I have a cold and cough and it's not fun. I have to take icky fruit punch medicine, YUCK!
Anyway, I've been drooling an awful lot and it turns out that it's because of a TOOTH! I guess a tooth is something that will help me chew, NEAT! My Mommy and Daddy are all very excited!

As for not feeling well, I saw the doctor and did not have to get any shots, YAY!!!! Mom said I just have to ride out the cold.

Auntie Carol watched me this morning, and we had fun!!! Her house is neat! I like it there. Mommy had a meeting somewhere, so Auntie Carol helped us out. She is so nice.
